For large size fans in which maintenance must be carried out with limited costs and short downtimes of the plant, it is advisable to choose a solution with a self supporting fan case and with impeller removal from the transmission side. This application allows complete removal of the impeller assembly without having to disconnect the fan from the plant in which it is installed.
