DATA CONTROLLER

The company MZ Aspiratori S.p.A., with registered office in Via Certani 7, 40054 Budrio (Bo), Italy, Tel. +39 051 80 19 81, e-mail segreteria@mzaspiratori.com, certified e-mail mzaspiratorispa@ticertifica.it, is the Data Controller and would like to inform you that, following consultation of the pages of the present website, certain data that identifies you or renders you identifiable, could be retained, such data being categorized in the applicable regulations as 'personal data'.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

In the normal course of operation of the computer systems and software procedures implemented for this website certain data are acquired and considered to be personal in nature by the GDPR, the transmission of which is implicit to the use of Internet communication protocols (known as traffic data). These data are not collected in order to be associated with identified persons, but by their nature could, through processing and association with other data held by third parties, permit the identification of users.

This data category includes: IP addresses or domain names of computers that connect to the website, website addresses in URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) notation for requested resources, the date and time of requests, the methods used to submit requests to the server, the size of files received in response, numeric codes indicating the response status returned by the server (success, error, etc.), as well as other parameters regarding the user's operating system and computer environment.

Purpose of processing, retention, and legal basis for navigation data

An IP address is a number assigned automatically to your personal computer each time you connect to Internet, either through your Internet Provider or a company network that uses the same Internet protocols. This address is used by websites to send you their web pages and it can vary every time you connect to the internet. In this case only your Internet provider or your company is able to trace back to the user assigned this address during previous connection sessions.

IP addresses are therefore not simple user identifiers for the Controller, and the navigation data is used for the sole purpose of:

  • Establishing anonymous statistical data about the use of the website (most visited pages, number of visitors by time band or daily, geographic areas of provenance, etc.);
  • Checking correct website operation.

Navigation data could be used to establish responsibility in the case of cybercrimes that damage the website: apart from this possibility, currently this type of web data do not persist for more than seven days.

The legal basis for the processing of navigation data is legitimate interest, since the data are used to promote the services and/or products offered through the visibility of the website, and to improve the image of the company.

The provision of navigation data is obligatory because it is necessary for correct communication between the website and your browser.

COOKIES

We use cookies in order to improve the user experience of the website you are visiting. These are text files (letters and/or numbers) that enable the web server to record information on the user's client program (typically a browser) for reuse during the current visit to the website (session cookies), or subsequently after a number of days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored on the browser of the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) according to the user's preferences, and they are utilized for different purposes: digital authentication, session monitoring, recording information about specific configurations for users who access the web server, recording preferences, website page visibility statistics, etc.

In particular, website visibility statistics are established using Google Analytics cookies, configured so that the IP addresses are anonymized by zeroing the final section of the addresses.

It is possible to set the privacy preferences in the browser being used so that cookies are not stored and they are cancelled after every visit or every time that the browser is closed. The preferences can also be set to only accept cookies originating from the domain of the present website and not from third parties. Finally, there is also a service called Your Online Choices which shows you which cookies are set by the various services and how to disable them individually.

For details about the cookies managed by this website, see the Cookie Policy available at the following link:
